Basis

How it applies

The committee appointed in the act instituting the Administrative Liability Proceeding (PAR) must conclude its activities fully respecting the time limit established by the applicable norm. If the regular period of one hundred and eighty days is insufficient for the proper elucidation of the facts and the complete finalization of the investigative work, the extension necessarily depends on a formal and justified request made by the committee president to the instituting authority, which shall decide with a statement of reasons regarding the extension of the deadline.
