- [Decreto n.º 11.129/2022 (Planalto, in Portuguese)](https://www.planalto.gov.br/ccivil_03/_ato2019-2022/2022/decreto/d11129.htm): regulates Law n.º 12.846/2013 and establishes the procedures and deadlines for the payment of fines applied in an Administrative Accountability Process (PAR).

## How it applies
The payment of the administrative fine follows deadlines determined by the outcome of the process. If the company does not file a request for reconsideration against the sanctioning decision, the 30-day payment period begins immediately after the end of the appeal period (which is 10 days after the publication of the decision). If the company files a request for reconsideration and the adjudicating authority upholds the penalty, a new 30-day period is granted from the date of publication of the new decision. Failure to pay or to provide proof of full payment authorizes the debt to be sent for registration in the Federal Active Debt (Dívida Ativa da União) or that of the respective agency/foundation.

## Limits
- Leniency agreements may provide for different deadlines for the payment of the fine, as agreed between the parties.
